Homework!
ByLast September for my birthday I enrolled in a week-long seminar at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography. My goal was to truly understand manual photography settings, wean myself off of the aperture priority mode, and better appreciate the interplay of light, speed, distance, focus . . .
While not as grueling as the summer intensive, this was still pretty challenging, requiring lots and lots of homework. Here are some of my favorite examples of new techniques I learned. Thanks to my great classmates, and to Doug and Jen, fabulous teachers and coaches.
