We spent about an hour one day and two hours the following morning shooting a family of grizzly bears in Yellowstone. What had been a mom and four cubs last year was down to a mom with two rambunctious cubs when we saw them. Bear cubs, like lion cubs, stay with their mom for two years, and these large and playful cubs are nearing the time when they will be on their own. But before then there is time for a lot of play. And also helping out the park rangers by rearranging the signage . . .
